KBIS, Las Vegas (USA) 2025
KBIS 2024 in Las Vegas was an absolute highlight for us as inquisitive insiders. I was able to experience the impressive dynamics and enormous growth potential of the US kitchen market first-hand. The record attendance of over 170,000 visitors and 3,000 exhibitors reflected the importance of this event: it has become the central meeting point for the industry.

From our personal impressions and discussions on site, we are taking away the following key findings:
The US market as a growth driver:
- We were able to see for ourselves how much interest Americans have in European kitchen designs and manufacturing methods. This opens up immense opportunities for German manufacturers, which must be utilised.
- The noticeable propensity to consume among the US population, especially millennials, means that long-term market growth can be expected.
German (kitchen) furniture industry on the upswing:
- Despite the current geopolitical situation, the strong presence of German companies at KBIS was a clear signal of their commitment to the US market.
- The ‘German Pavilion’ impressively demonstrated the high quality and innovative strength of German suppliers.
Networking and community as success factors:
- KBIS offered me personally excellent opportunities to cultivate existing contacts and establish new business relationships.
- The joint presentation of German companies underlined the importance of cooperation in a globalised market.
International relations:
- The discussions on site showed that economic relations between the USA and Germany are very good despite political tensions.
KBIS 2024 gave us valuable insights into the current trends and developments in the US furnishings market. It is obvious that there is enormous potential here that German manufacturers need to tap into.
