Interior Golf Cup 2023 - Networking while golfing in the sunshine

After the successful premiere in 2022, we organized the 2nd Interior Golf Cup on May 25, 2023. Not only participants from last year remained loyal to us, but also we to the venue Gut Kaden near Hamburg. In beautiful weather it went for the golfers to the scramble tournament and for the tasters on the driving range and putting. Both groups were united by the fact that in nice company and with many good conversations, the head was freed from the daily business routine and new contacts could be made.

Thursday, May 25, Interior Golf Cup 2023 - this date was set by many decision-makers in the furnishings and media industry. But it actually started the evening before: A large number of participants arrived on Wednesday and took advantage of the joint welcome dinner at the Gut Kaden manor house, about 20 minutes from Hamburg, for a cheerful and convivial get-together. The later the evening got, the more tables were lined up and free chairs quickly became scarce - the perfect start to a great event day.

Sun, nature, sports, community - the Interior Golf Cup 2023 inspired in many ways

The tournament day started in the morning with the check-in and the distribution of the tee-off gifts to each participant. This time we were supported by our main sponsor Ozonos as well as our supporters ifm, moebel.de, Vogelsänger Studios as well as Hyperice. At 10 a.m. the golfers started the 18-hole scramble tournament. This form of play focuses on the team and the exchange of ideas among each other. An hour later, the other participants were given the opportunity to try their hand at golf. Guided by the golf pro, they first practiced teeing off on the driving range. Later, a challenge was held on the putting green among all participants. At noon, both groups met at the halfway house for a snack - networking included. Photos of the individual groups were also taken.

Masterclasses, award ceremony, round birthday - the evening had many highlights

Golfers and beginners returned from the extensive grounds in the afternoon and took the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather and the nice company on the terrace, exchanging many common experiences. Around 6 pm the group met for a sundowner in front of the manor house including the taking of the group photo. Afterwards, we offered a new item on the program: three master classes, which broadened the horizon and provided additional topics of conversation away from golf. At the beginning, there was an entertaining interview with the ex-professional soccer player and current entrepreneur Fredy Scheucher. Arne Stock gave the participants first insights into the new trade marketing study and Johannes Sommer shared his expert knowledge on AI & Chat GPT. After refreshments at the buffet, the award ceremony was on the agenda - a highlight at every golf tournament. Golfers as well as taster golfers were awarded in several categories and celebrated. Speaking of celebrations: At midnight there was another highlight: We celebrated the birthday of a birthday boy or girl.

Interior Golf Cup to be continued in 2024

After the good experiences of the first two events and the consistently positive feedback, we will continue the Interior Golf Cup next year. We are open to ideas and suggestions regarding the choice of date and venue. For now, however, it's time to enjoy the experiences of this year and look back on them.
