A highlight of sporting networking – Interior Golf Cup 2025 once again a resounding success

Gütersloh, 13 June 2025 – Last Friday, the Interior Golf Cup took place for the third time in perfect summer weather – this time at the picturesque Westfälischer Golfclub Gütersloh. Organised by Florian Goos (The Wild Goose) and Dirk Schroeder (dirk_schroeder), the event at the new venue in East Westphalia turned out to be an unforgettable day full of sporting highlights, personal encounters and intense networking moments.

‘It's great to see how our Interior Golf Cup has established itself as a permanent sporting fixture for networking in the industry,’ said organiser Florian Goos. ‘The combination of sport, a relaxed atmosphere and exchanges on an equal footing is what makes the event so special.’

Golf for everyone – from professionals to beginners

The highlight of the day was the golf tournament in the popular scramble format. Team spirit was paramount, as only the best result per hole was counted. At the same time, a taster golf programme offered interested guests the opportunity to get to know the sport in a relaxed atmosphere – here too, winners were crowned, trophies awarded and other prizes presented. This meant that both experienced golfers and curious beginners got their money's worth.

‘With the IGC, we want to appeal to everyone – regardless of whether they have a handicap or not. The important thing is that we enjoy a special day together,’ emphasises Dirk Schroeder. ‘The positive response from all sides shows us that this concept works.’

Community on and off the course

After the sporting activities, all participants gathered for an atmospheric barbecue on the club terrace. Guests and hosts ended the day together with culinary delights and relaxed conversations – in many cases until late into the night.

After the game is before the game: the Interior Golf Cup will continue next year. The date has already been set – on 12 June 2026, the industry event will enter its fourth round. The exact venue will be announced at a later date.
